First light over the bay this morning. Worth the 5am alarm. #sunrise
Hyper-local social
See what's happening right where you are.
Nearviews is a wall of short Views from the people around you. Pick a radius, and only what happens inside it shows up.
No app to install. Works in your browser.
How Nearviews works
Four steps from signing up to being part of your neighbourhood.
- 1
Post a View
Share a short note, photos or a video. Nearviews tags it with where you are right now, so it lands on the wall of people close to you.
- 2
Choose your radius
Drop a pin on the map and slide from 1 to 200 km, or go worldwide. The wall only shows Views from inside your circle.
- 3
See what is near you
Browse Latest, Top or Media. Search places and hashtags, and see how far away each View was posted.
- 4
Join in
Like and comment, follow people nearby and send private messages. Every comment shows the city it came from.
A wall that's actually nearby
Every View shows its city and how far away it was posted. Widen the radius to see more, tighten it to stay hyper-local.
- Latest, Top and Media tabs
- Search by place, name or #hashtag
- Comments tagged with the commenter's city
Everything you need, nothing you don't
Real locations
Views and comments carry the coordinates they were written at, so the radius filter is honest.

Attach up to four photos or a video, or paste a YouTube link.

Get a notification when someone you follow posts near you.

Location, in the open
To post or comment, your browser asks to share your current location. Views and comments are saved with those coordinates so the radius filter works, and other people see the city and distance. Reading the wall never needs your location.
